A PLC controlled cable filling and core wrap tape applicating system for producing filled water blocked cable constructions on line in tandem with cable sheathing. The machine consists of five (5) basic sections; one for compound storage, one for pressure filling of the cable core, one for longitudinal application of the corewrap tape, one for binding of the core wrap tape in place, and one for flooding over the core wrap tape.
