Vertical Driven Accumulator

A vertical festoon type accumulation system have sufficient capacity to allow the operator time to complete the splicing operation. The system can be linked via PLC with a driven metal tape supply stand which is dancer controlled to maintain the preset tape back tension constant during normal operation of the line as well as throughout the accumulation cycle. The system is fully automatic performing the accumulation sequence without operator involvement.
