Cold compound filling system

A fully integrated filling system for water blocking compound that is pumpable at ambient temperature. The system includes a drum pumping unit, a metering unit and the pressure filling station. The pumping unit will accommodate 208 liter drums of compound that is supplied on demand to the metering unit. The metering pump in turn supplies a consistent delivery of filling compound to the pressure filling section that is comprised of a pressure filling head for filling the interstices of the cable core.
